Have I really not posted a playlist since last year?? In part that’s because January-April is the slow season for DJs, but still, I’ve been remiss.
Here’s what I played at last night’s event for Bolt Threads, an Emeryville-based startup that is doing some interesting new things with textiles. I think. I ain’t no expert at that stuff. I am fairly expert at getting people to dance, and last night was no exception. I had the opportunity to spin a 4-hour-long set, which gave me the opportunity to go in a number of different directions, all of which seemed to please the crowd. As you can see, they were especially into the ’90s pop hits. Britney, Backstreet, Hanson– they all drew favorable response.
