It used to be that most of the playlists I shared were from weddings I’d DJ’ed, but four in a row now represent virtual, online dance parties that I’m hosting from home. Each week I think that I may be doing the last one, but I’m still getting a sizable number of viewers, and people are asking me to continue what has now become a weekly tradition. So far, each Friday night has attracted hundreds of viewers, and it has become a giant, fun, international party. Most of my viewers are from North America, primarily the U.S. and Canada, but I had a few virtual attendees check in from Europe last night, and at least one from South America.

The hardest part has been coming up with a new name each week, especially since I sort of pigeon-holed myself into movie tie-ins with “Part Deux” and “In 3-D.” The fourth installment was a pretty easy choice, but I’m already wondering where I go with number five. Check back in a week and find out!
In the meantime, these are the records I spun in last night’s DJ set. If you look closely you’ll see I played the same song twice, usually a disc jockey faux pas. Read on to learn why I did that!
