I haven’t shared a wedding playlist yet this entire season, but last night’s was an especially fun one, so here it is! The wedding took place at a lovely new event site, Field and Pond, aptly named as both a field and a pond feature prominently in the space, way up in Winters, a small town about midway between Napa and Sacramento. Though the site is still relatively new, the event went off without a hitch.
The groom’s family is Cambodian, so I played a set of Cambodian favorites for them, to great success. However, I’m not 100% sure that the titles and artists for those songs are accurate. The groom sent me some mp3s, a handful of which I included in my set, but the ID3 tags weren’t very substantial. In any event, the songs were a hit with his family, and their energy brought the rest of the guests out to the dancefloor.
